When you create an account or purchase a subscription, we may collect:

- Profile Information: Your professional profile, target job roles, and interview preferences you provide within the application
- Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through Paddle, our payment processor. We do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you use Ghost Interviewer:
- Application Analytics: Feature usage patterns, session duration, and crash reports to improve our service
- Device Information: Operating system version, application version, and general hardware specifications
- Error Logs: Technical error data to diagnose and fix issues
Content You Provide
- Voice Input: Audio data captured through your microphone when using voice-to-text features, processed in real-time via Deepgram's API
- Screen Content: Screenshots or screen captures you initiate within the application to provide context for AI-assisted responses
- Interview Questions: Text queries and questions you submit for AI analysis
Important: Voice data and screen captures are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers. They are transmitted securely to our AI service providers solely for the purpose of generating responses.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide Core Services: Process your interview questions, generate AI-powered responses, and deliver the functionality of Ghost Interviewer
- Process Transactions: Manage your subscription, process payments, and provide customer support
- Improve Our Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features, fix bugs, and develop new capabilities
- Communicate With You: Send important service updates, security alerts, and respond to your inquiries
- Ensure Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to our services

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your interview content to train AI models beyond the scope of providing you with immediate responses.

Ghost Interviewer integrates with trusted third-party services to deliver our features. Each provider has their own privacy practices:

AI model routing and inference for generating interview responses. Data is processed per their privacy policy.

Data Storage and Security
Where We Store Data
Your data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. Account and subscription data is stored on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit. Application settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.
Security Measures
We implement multiple layers of security to protect your information:
- Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers uses TLS 1.3 encryption
- API Key Security: Your API keys for third-party services are stored locally on your device and encrypted

Children's Privacy
Ghost Interviewer is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

By using Ghost Interviewer, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
